If you’re like me, you probably have a lot of devices that use micro USB to charge up. Which is where the Anker 40W 5-Port USB Charger comes in handy. As the name states, it’s a 5-port USB charger which can sit on your desk and charge all your devices. For instance, I have a microUSB charger plugged in, as well as my LG G Watch charger and a Qi Wireless charger plugged in, all on my desk. Why’s that such a big deal? Well because it uses just one outlet instead of 3. Also there’s two more spots where I can charge another tablet or something else as well.
Much like the Astro Pro battery pack I reviewed last week from Anker, this one has their Power IQ Technology inside. And in a nutshell what that does is pushes as much power to your device as it can handle without causing any damage. So that you don’t have to worry about plugging in your phone to a tablet-dedicated charging port and worry about it overcharging your device or sending to much power. Which is definitely nice to have.

We’ve been using it for a little over a week and haven’t had any issues, and it charges everything just like it were plugged directly into the outlet in the wall.
