As you might heard, the new Acer Liquid C1 smartphone will be launched in Malaysia this week which technically made our market as one of the first early adopters for the device. Powered by theIntel Atom Z2420 system-on-a-chip (SoC) processor that features a 1.2GHz single core HyperThreading-enabled CPU and a 400MHz PowerVR SGX540 GPU, it is said to be priced at under RM 1000.
Ahead of its official launch tomorrow, we managed to have yet another encounter with the mid-range smartphone recently and this time, we managed to run a number of benchmarks on the device. At the same time, we also snapped several pictures using its 8-megapixels rear camera and 0.3-megapixels front-facing camera.
Since this particular unit has been going around as demo unit, there is a possibility that it is a pre-production device and might not reflect the actual performance of the retail version. Nevertheless, we believe the results still can be taken as a rough indicator of the Acer Liquid C1 performance. Click on the Read More link below to check them out.
