OnePlus Nord 2 Display Details Get Confirmed By The Company

OnePlus has just confirmed some Nord 2 display details. The company has confirmed such information via its official ‘oneplus.nord’ Instagram account.

The OnePlus Nord 2 display details have just been confirmed, suggesting OnePlus 8’s display

In its post, OnePlus confirmed that the phone will feature a 6.43-inch display. It also confirmed that this will be a Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. That panel will also be HDR10+ certified.

OnePlus did not mention fullHD+ resolution, but that’s almost certainly what we’re getting here. Based on those specs, it seems like the Nord 2 will have the same display as the OnePlus 8, but flat, instead of curved.

In its post, OnePlus also mentioned “lifelike color and visuals”, along with “smooth, high-refresh gaming”. Considering this will be a mid-range smartphone, these display specs are not bad at all. The panel on the OnePlus 8 still looks excellent.

As you probably already know, the OnePlus Nord 2 will become official on July 22. The company confirmed as much not long ago, while it also confirmed the phone’s SoC. The OnePlus Nord 2 will ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor, MediaTek’s most powerful chip.

The Nord 2 will also be the first-ever smartphone from OnePlus to feature a non-Snapdragon processor. We don’t know if OnePlus opted for the Dimensity 1200 due to chip shortage, or because it’s cheaper than the alternative they were considering, but that is quite a powerful processor.

The OnePlus Nord 2 will almost certainly be made out of metal and glass. It will have thin bezels, while it will also include a display camera hole, likely in the top-left corner.

The phone will support either 30W or 65W fast wired charging, while wireless charging likely won’t be included. Android 11 will come pre-installed on the phone, along with the company’s OxygenOS 11 skin. That’s basically it, the phone is right around the corner, it’s coming in 10 days.
