Top 10 Best Gaming Accessories – List
If you want a little more information on each accessory we picked, you can find that below.
We’ll list each of the best gaming accessories on our list with short descriptions, prices, and buy links.
JBL Quantum One
- Price: From $250
- Where To Buy: Amazon, B&H, Walmart
Look, if you aren’t messing around with your gaming setup and you want something that can only be described as otherworldly, get the JBL Quantum One.
This beast of a headset has loads of features and all of them are useful, and amp up the gaming experience to a level you’ve likely never experienced before.
From the little things like the USB-A to USB-C port connection, to the major things like the head tracking, the JBL Quantum One promises to deliver the most immersive gaming audio experience imaginable.
The head tracking in particular really makes you feel like you’re in the game. And when paired with the Active Noise Cancellation you’ll definitely stay focused.
Worried about not hearing friends or family if they need your attention for a quick second? Don’t be. Because the JBL Quantum One also has a noise pass through. Simply turn this on from its dedicated button on the left ear, and you can now hear everything in the room while the game is basically muted.
I found this to be extremely useful when someone needs to ask me a question. As I could hear them perfectly without having to take the headset off. This is a pricey headset, but it’s so, so worth it.
Razer Naga Pro
- Price: $150
- Where To Buy: Amazon, Best Buy
The Razer Naga Pro is one of our selections for best gaming accessories because of its versatility in gaming. There are a lot of different genres of games.
And really not every single game lends itself well to a particular gaming mouse. While any gaming mouse will work with any game type, certain mice are more well suited to certain types of games.
The Naga Pro however, is versatile enough to work with multiple game genres. Building off of the success of past Naga mice, the Naga Pro features the same tried and true 12-button side panel. This particular panel is great for MMO games. Quite simply because it lets you bind many of your abilities to buttons that are right under your thumb. And let’s be honest that’s way easier than hitting the number keys on the keyboard.
It also features two other side panels. One with 6 buttons that’s designed more for MOBA games and battle royale games. And one with a couple of buttons on the side that’s designed more for first-person shooters. The Naga Pro is also wireless, but can be used in wired mode when the battery needs a recharge.
Hands down, this is one of the best gaming mice in existence. Because it fits really any game genre.
Glorious Modular Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
- Price: From $110
- Where To Buy: Amazon
There are lots of great gaming keyboards out there, but the GMMK, otherwise known as the Glorious Modular Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, is the best.
It’s also one of the best gaming accessories you can pick up, and also necessary since you need a keyboard for PC games. With the GMMK, you of course get mechanical switches but this isn’t just any mechanical gaming keyboard.
You can actually swap out the switches. Whether they need to be replaced or not. And you don’t have to do any soldering. You can just use the included tool to pop off the keys, pull out the switch, and slot a new one in.
Any MX switch is compatible and you can use any combination of them too. So if you like Cherry MX Reds for most keys. Slot them in. Or you can use Gatreon and Kailh switches.
The GMMK also features RGB lighting, and it comes in three sizes – Full, Tenkeyless, and Compact. This isn’t a wireless keyboard so you’ll have to keep it plugged in. In terms of function and feel though, this is a stellar keyboard that doesn’t need all the bells and whistles.
SteelSeries QcK Prism XL
- Price: $59
- Where To Buy: Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart
A mouse mat is just a mouse mat. Right? Wrong. Not all mouse mats are created equal. And while the size of the mat you prefer may differ from what others prefer, you want a decent one.
One of the best gaming accessories and the best RGB mouse mat, is the QcK Prism XL from SteelSeries. Since it’s an extended mouse mat, it stretches across your desk and you can fit both your keyboard and mouse on it.
This mat in particular also comes with the RGB lighting strip around the edge in a dual section split. Though you don’t have to use the 2-zone coloring and can set it to something else. It uses a microweave cloth material for the top so you’ve got that nice smooth glide for your mouse, and a fairly grippy bottom to make sure the mat doesn’t move around.
Sony DualSense Controller for PS5
- Price: $70
- Where To Buy: Amazon, B&H, Target, Best Buy
This controller is a magnificent display of some evolutionary controller features. And I could say that over and over until I turn blue in the face and it still wouldn’t accurately portray just how good of a gaming accessory this is.
Between the adaptive triggers and the haptic feedback, the DualSense controller is the only controller you should be considering for your PS5 gaming experience.
The adaptive triggers especially are what really make the DualSense controller something magical. You have to experience it firsthand to get the full impact. But trust us when we say it’s a feature that has huge potential for the immersion and interactivity in games for this generation.
New features aside, the controller just feels good in the hand. It has a good weight to it and the design matches the console. While there aren’t any third-party controllers out there for the PS5 right now, there will be eventually. And once they arrive, the DualSense controller is still the one that you’re going to want to stick with.
EPOS | Sennheiser GSP 300
- Price: From $82
- Where To Buy: Amazon, B&H, Walmart
This is the perfect headset to pair with the GSX 300 Gaming DAC if you aren’t looking to spend a boatload of money on the headphone setup.
There’s a lot on board here that makes this a fantastic option with an affordable price. For one, it’s Sennheiser so the audio quality is going to be amazing. It also has large cushy ear pads and a comfortable yet breathable headband.
The noise cancelling mic also flips up, which also mutes the mic during chat. So it’s a very convenient design that makes it easy to pop in and pop out of chat at a moment’s notice.
There’s an on-ear dial for volume adjustment on the right side, and it comes with an adapter that lets you use the headset with more than just PC. Including PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mac, Mobile, and any device with a 3.5mm audio port.
Panasonic SoundSlayer
- Price: $ 296
- Where To Buy: Amazon, B&H
The Panasonic SoundSlayer is a sound bar that proves to be very useful for more than a few reasons. This is a gaming-focused sound bar that does cater heavily to gamers, but it works just as well for things other than games too. Like streaming TV, streaming music, and movies.
The SoundSlayer really shines though with a couple of key features. One, it has HDMI pass through which is an excellent feature to have. If you’ve got a PS5, the HDMI pass through works wonders in helping you connect the console for both audio and video. Since the PS5 no longer supports optical, and it still doesn’t support Bluetooth audio.
In addition to the HDMI pass through, the SoundSlayer also has various sound profile modes that are tailored to specific game types. Such as RPG mode, Voice mode (for vocal dialogue-heavy games), and FPS mode. Panasonic also worked with the Final Fantasy XIV sound engineers to create the SoundSlayer sound bar’s uniquely fit audio experience.
On top of all that, the SoundSlayer is fairly short, doesn’t have too much depth, and it isn’t very tall. So it won’t be taking up a lot of space on your desk or TV stand or wherever else you choose to put it. It’ll fit in almost anywhere.
It comes with Dolby Atmos too, and provides a pretty decent 3D sound experience. Price-wise it’s also not too bad.
Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller
- Price: From $173
- Where To Buy: Amazon, B&H, Target, Best Buy
Probably one of the most expensive gamepads you’ll ever buy, but worth it if you want a custom gaming experience that’s hard to find elsewhere.
The Elite Series 2 is also one of the best gaming accessories because it can be used with both the Xbox consoles as well as Windows 10 PCs. So you can flip it back and forth between your gaming platforms.
Aside from having a wonderfully comfortable design, the Elite Series 2 lets you adjust a ton of stuff. You can adjust the tension on the thumbsticks, swap out the thumbsticks and the paddles, and even set up customized profiles dedicated to specific games.
The triggers have textured grips on them now too. Bluetooth is the wireless technology here, and the controller has a USB-C port for charging or for wired play. You can also get up to 40 hours on a single charge. So it’ll last you a while before needing to plug it in.
SteelSeries Arctis 1
- Price: $100
- Where To Buy: Amazon, Walmart
Good quality wireless headsets can be expensive, but they don’t have to be. Case in point – the SteelSeries Arctis 1 is a good quality wireless headset and it’s pretty affordable.
Like nearly all SteelSeries gaming headsets, the Arctis 1 features a ClearCast microphone (this one is detachable instead of retractable) for voice chat. And the headset is Discord-certified so it’ll work seamlessly when you’re talking to your friends in whatever game you’re playing.
It can also be used on multiple platforms including PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and PS5.
The best part though is that the lossless wireless audio connects to devices using a USB-C transmitter. This makes it very easy to use with your phone if you like your mobile games. Since most phones these days charge using a USB-C port.
You’ll need a USB-A to USB-C adapter though for devices that don’t have a USB-C port. It also comes in a variety of color and design options. Like your standard black or white, as well as a special Cyberpunk 2077-themed model.
Razer Base Station Chroma
- Price: $60
- Where To Buy: Amazon, Best Buy
If you game, you may want to keep your setup as uniform as possible. That means having a headphone stand that matches the rest of your gear.
The best headphone stand for that is the Razer Base Station Chroma. It comes in the familiar matte black, as well as Razer’s Mercury and Quartz colors. Though those models may be more than the black one.
The Base Station Chroma also of course has Chroma lighting at the base. It has three USB ports at the base as well so you can charge additional devices or keep them plugged into your PC without taking up your PC’s actual ports.
These are perfect for having a nice organized location for your headphones and it puts them on display. So overall it adds to the aesthetic.
