We were at KL Hilton to experience Tea Tales around the World on a fine Saturday afternoon. Ronnefeldt, one of my favourite tea label is featuring some of the most beautiful teas from around the world such as Korean Flower, Taiwan Ti Dung, Nepal Jun Chiyabari, Japan Sencha Kiyomizu and Green Chinese Spring.
I love the golden tin packaging, and the patterns/graphics represent that particular tea producing country.
It was an afternoon of pure indulgence, with decadent savoury selections, homemade cakes and pastry paired with beautiful teas from around the world.
I like how some of the cakes and pastries were infused with Ronnefeldt Tea, giving it a unique taste and aroma.

We manage to try a few varieties of tea such as the Taiwan Ti Dung (an elegant oolong tea with nutty fragrant), Rooibos Chocolate Truffle (non-caffeinated tea with a nice chocolate aroma), Korean Flower that comes from the fertile soil of volcanic island of Jeju and Assam Blend, one of the strongest in the Ronnefeldt’s Tea Couture with a spicy and malty with fine texture.

We kept going back for the scones with jam and clotted cream. They were so fluffy and light.

The savoury selections were pretty good too, especially the mushroom vol-au-vent. Love the flaky, buttery pastries with earthy mushrooms fillings.

Rm 100 per pax; comes with coffee or tea from Ronnefeldt
Rm 200 per pax; comes with tea from Ronnefeldt and a glass of champagne.
The tea set is available every day from Monday to Saturday; serve in the elegant three tier style.
Where as the Tea Tales Around The World Buffet Afternoon Tea is available on every Sunday from 2.30pm to 5pm; from now until 29th May 2016. Afternoon tea lovers will get to enjoy unlimited refills of delicate sweet and savoury spreads.
