Sony Netherlands opens Xperia X pre-orders; bundles free Sony MDR-XB650BT wireless headphones

Pre-orders for the Sony Xperia X are already live across third-party retailers, as previously reported. However, we have been waiting for Sony Mobile to open up their own pre-orders across Europe, particularly as some offers have been promised. Whilst we still await Sony to open its own pre-orders across most European regions, it looks like Sony Netherlands has decided to jump the gun.

Sony Netherlands has teamed up with various Dutch retailers such as MediaMarkt.nl, CoolBlue.nl, Mobiel.nl, BelSimpel.nl and BOL.com, to include a free wireless headset with each Xperia X pre-order. This seems like a good incentive, especially if you were already planning to lay down €599 for the Xperia X anyway. We’ll bring you news of other Sony Europe offers as soon as they go live.

The headset in question is the Sony MDR-XB650BT EXTRA BASS Bluetooth wireless over-the-ear headphone, which retails for around the £100/€130 mark. The headset includes a 30mm neodymium driver unit which helps to deliver deep, punchy bass and has a 30-hour battery life.
