Halloween is once again upon us and to celebrate this, Sunway Lagoon has brought back its Nights of Fright scare attractions to park goers who want a good haunting. This week we round up the top five reasons why you should visit Nights of Fright III this October.

1. Get a load of groovy ghoulies
The undead have returned, and they are taking over the dance floor with their killer moves and elaborate costumes worthy of a Lady Gaga concert.

2. See the theme park in a different light (or lack of it!)
Nights of Fright III runs from Thursday to Saturday, from 7:30pm to 11:30pm this October, so park visitors get to go on some of the amusement rides at night, such as the Scream Coaster, Grand Canyon River Rapids and Pirate’s Revenge. The eerie atmosphere adds a spooky dimension to the already exhilarating rides.

3. Experience a truly 1Malaysia haunting!
I saw a diverse set of spooks, from Chinese vampires to Malay ghosts, including some I didn’t know existed till I visited the park. I even spied Freddie Krueger roaming about the theme park looking for his next victim to scare.

4. Get your nerves and senses pushed to the max
Make no mistake – the haunting happens on a theme park scale. Some attractions have strobing lights and sudden noises. And whether you are just hanging around or inside one of the actual scare attractions, there will be someone or something popping out at every corner to scare you.

5. Finally, prepare for plenty of screams and fun!
You know what you signed up for, so head on in and allow yourself to be scared silly! You might find that you’ll be laughing just as much as your pulse goes racing. That’s a sure sign that you’re having a good time.
