New Mod Adds Stereo Sound To The Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Media consumption is one of the many features in which current smartphones are used for. The recently announced Galaxy Note 5 integrates some of the most powerful specs out there, so needless to say that multimedia performance will be a very good experience. Now, a mod has been created on XDA which allows the earpiece work as a second speaker, providing stereo sound.

The mod was created by sshafranko and he mentions that it has been tested on the Note 5 locked for T-Mobile, so he is not sure if it will work on any other version of the device. Since the earpiece was not designed to work as a speaker, it may not have great audio capabilities, but the overall experience still should be a little more immersive. The device must be rooted for this purpose, so this solution is meant for more experienced users who should install at their own risk.
