Motorola has recently announced three new smartphones, the Moto G (3rd-gen), Moto X Play and Moto X Style. The Moto G is their entry-level handset, but it’s more than powerful enough for the majority of users out there. The Moto X Play is the company’s mid-range offering, and the Moto X Style is Motorola’s new flagship. All three of these devices are compelling, depending on what you’re looking for, of course. Some people expected Motorola to unveil the 2nd-gen Moto 360 smartwatch at their event as well, but that didn’t happen.
That being said, we did see a ton of Moto 360 leaks in the last couple of days. The company’s smartwatch leaked in renders, and two Lenovo execs were caught wearing it. Well, the leaks just keep on coming, the new one just surfaced, courtesy of @upleaks. If you take a look at the images down below, you’ll get to see the alleged Moto 360 and Moto 360 Sport smartwatches. So, it seems like Motorola actually intends on releasing two variants of their smartwatch, one premium watch made out of metal, and the other one seems to be rubberized (though it’s possible metal is underneath, of course).
There are a number of different Moto 360 models shown off in these images, various colors and bands. You get to see the Black, Silver and what seems to be Gold color options of the Moto 360, along with metal and leather straps attached to them. As far as Moto 360 Sport is concerned, Black, White and Orange variants are shown off here, it’s possible more color options will be available. These images are not the only piece of information @upleaks shared with us today, the leaker has also leaked the availability info for both of these watches. According to the source, Moto 360 (2nd-gen) will be announced in September (perhaps even during IFA?), and the Moto 360 Sport will arrive in November.
These renders actually go hand-in-hand with what we’ve seen so far, at least as far the Moto 360 (regular version) is concerned. The Moto 360 Sport seems to be a reality as well, at least according to the available info, but we’ll see. Either way, stay tuned for more info, it’s even possible that Motorola will announce Moto 360 during IFA, we’ll see.
