A surface mini. We’ve talked about it before and I’m totally itching for one. Something super portable let, but full windows 10 AND stylus support for easier note taking and/or drawing.
The likes of the 1520 and nexus 6 show that 6incher pallets do work. Having a Surface mini crammed into a surface phone would be even better. There’s more rumours coming around that such a surface phone (at least in name) might appear. Perfect! Just one device to carry around and with continuum, there’s that full desktop power when you need it too.
I’ve been using my Note 4 for nearly a year and as much as the constant overheating and resulting lag and awful battery makes me want to kick it to Mars, I really do appreciate the things I can do with that stylus. It’s great for taking notes, along with the S-note app. When at home, stream to TV with desktop interface. Connect to mouse and BT keyboard and have an amazing pocket PC
If that were in a Windows 10 powered phone, it would be even better. For one, when multitasking windows, you haven’t got this awful half hidden card mess where you have to open the app in order to see details on that window. I think it’s completely dumb and doesn’t really add to the aesthetics or helpfulness to stack some useless pieces of cards on top of each other. Show me the full window. Give me instant look at the multitasking windows when I press or activate that gesture and with a glance say see a phone number or address on a other page WITHOUT having to open the other app. HA, I really do dislike the card stack UI.
Side by side multitasking would be nice; one that works universally and not just for a select few apps because that smells of “eau-de-gimmick”. Keep the tiles and folder system as I found that super efficient. More so than the constantly reloading, ultimate fail widgets designed to show only the most useless of information.
