Google Play Music Comes 60-Day Free Trial Now

AH Google Play Music-3

Google Play Music has been trying for quite some time to establish itself in a market of strong competitors. Today, the music service offers a 30 day free trial, on top of its original 30 day free trial. Thats right; 2 months of free music for any new subscribers, giving them full access to all of Play Music’s 30 million songs, which can be streamed or downloaded on all devices that are connected.

So anyone that isn’t subscribed already, can head over to Google Play Music right now and get unrestricted access. Some countries, like the UK, haven’t started offering this trial yet, but most regions should be offering it within the next few hours. Beware though; this offer won’t stand for long, so don’t hesitate too much! After the 2 month trial is over, users will be prompted to subscribe to Play Music for the standard rate of $9.99/month to unlock ‘All Access‘. As the name infers, this will let you stream or download as much music as you could possibly want.

Play Music has been trying to promote their service with deals similar to this one for a while now. Increasing competition from streaming services like Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, iTunes Match, and Rdio have pushed Google to up their game in the streaming department. Play Music now lets users keep a personal catalog of 50,000 songs on the web for online streaming, in their so-called ‘online music  locker’. These can be played anywhere at any time on almost any device.  Of course downloading music still works perfectly fine too, and to compete with it’s biggest rival in this department, iTunes, Play Music is now even available on iPad after having been on iPhone for quite a while already.

So far, Play Music is doing really well for itself and trials like this one will surely benefit it. After having acquired music streaming service Songa back in 2014, Play Music possessed the ability to provide users with playlists based on the time, your last listened to music, and your recent downloads. Combine this with the impressive online music locker, unlimited online streaming, sharing on 10 devices, Chromecast compatibility, and custom radio stations, and you’ve got a very impressive and powerful music streaming service.
