Bloomberg reports that Nokia is looking for suitors for their HERE Maps section, at a cost of about 3 Billion Euros.
Nokia is focusing more and more on Networks, with a huge merger with Alcatel-Lucent to organise and close. There’s also some small work in Nokia technologies that is said to be attempting to get back into consumer side (e.g. N1, Z-Launcher and a rumoured Nokia smartphone for 2016).
Spokesmen for all these proposed companies have declined to comment but German publication, Manager Magazin, says a group of German car makers were looking at HERE.
