Elephone is planning to release some really interesting smartphones really soon. The company has first introduced their P7000 handset which is incredibly affordable and already available for pre-order. Not long after that, rumors and leaks started arriving regarding the company’s upcoming flagship, 2 flagships in fact. The Elephone’s upcoming flagship will arrive in two variants, one will be powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop and the other one will actually offer dual-boot and you’ll be able to run Windows 10 as well as Android 5.0 Lollipop. Sounds cool? Read on.
We’ve already seen quite a few leaked renders regarding this device, and now we have some official ones to share with you which actually go hand-in-hand with the previously leaked content. If you take a look at the gallery down below you’ll notice a bunch of images showing off these two devices. They will be basically identical in terms of design, but they will differ in terms of the pre-installed software, as explained in the first paragraph. These leaked renders actually confirm that the device will sport a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, much like the aforementioned P7000 unit. The dual-flash will be also located on the back of the device, next to the camera. This phone will be made out of metal and as you can see, the metal trim on the sides is quite thin, hopefully the blacks bars won the sides won’t be too thick, we still don’t know how will that look like considering we haven’t seen this phone powered on yet. Two SIM slots are also pictured in the images down below.
These two devices will also sport somewhat different specs. Both of these devices will reportedly sport a QuadHD (2560 x 1440) panel on the front along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internals storage. Same can be said about the 3,800mAh battery and a 20.7-megapixel Sony camera that will ship with these devices. They will be powered by different processors though, the Android-only variant will ship with MediaTek’s MT6795 64-bit octa-core SoC, and the dual-boot variant will be powered by Intel’s quad-core processor. The Android-only version will allegedly arrive in May, and the dual-boot variant will see the light of day a month later, in June.
