ZTE latest flagship, the Nubia Z9 series was first showcased in CES 2015 last January. After a short period of being idle, ZTE is now ready to announce the Nubia Z9 Max and Z9 mini are available for preorder in China.
Among the two Z9 series, the Nubia Z9 Max is a higher spec model that sports a 5.5 inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and it is powered by Snapdragon 810 processor.
The device is mated with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage. Also can be seen on the device are 2,900 mAh capacity battery, AK4375 HiFi chip, 16 megapixel rear Sony BSI camera, 8 megapixel front-facing camera etc.
The smaller sized Z9 mini also packs a 1080p 5 inch display that is running Snapdragon 615 processor. Its other features includes 2 GB of RAM, 2,900 mAh battery size, 16 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front-facing camera etc.
Both devices comes with Dual SIM card that support 4G LTE and they run Android 5.0 Lollipop with Nubia UI 2.8 out of the box.
ZTE is quoting Nubia Z9 Max retail price at CNY2,499 (about RM1,475) and Z9 mini cost CNY1,499 (about RM885). Both of them are available for preorder in China now.
