As we all know, China is home to many, many smartphone manufacturers. You’ve probably heard of a lot of Chinese manufacturers, like Xiaomi, ZTE, Huawei… which are well-known at this point, but there are many more smaller OEMs out there. Companies like Mlais, a Hong Kong-based smartphone OEM whose warehouses are based in Shenzen. This is a young company, and has released two devices thus far, Mlais M52 and M9. Both of these devices are well-built mid-rangers whose prices are incredibly competitive.
Anyhow, Mlais is hoping to grow and leave their mark out in the market, which surely won’t be easy, especially in China. The company is going to announce a new handset in a couple of days, and they’ve posted a first teaser for this device on their official Facebook page. As you can see in the provided image, this handset will sport a metallic trim, and what seems to be a plastic back cover with some sort of a pattern on there. The device will most probably be released at the beginning of next week, which is only a couple of days away, so stay tuned for that. We still don’t know if this will be another mid-ranger, or will the company announce a high-end device this time around. We do believe that this handset will sport a rather sizeable screen though, the “take Note” caption that the company released along with the teaser suggests that Mlais might use the “Note” branding. This is still not confirmed, of course, but it seems that way.
In case you’d like to check out Mlais’ already released products, you can visit the company’s “products” section on their official webpage. If you’d like to purchase one, however, visit this link which will take you to a list of resellers which are offering those devices. Some of them are even offering discounted Mlais’ handsets at the moment, so they’re even cheaper than usual. We’ll report back as soon as we get some additional information regarding the company’s upcoming handset, stay tuned.
