Cloud storage is easily one of the most used services that can be found on multiple platforms simply because of what it allows the user. Microsoft states that the new API provides better speed and functionality, and it includes various new features like resumable uploads of files up to 10GB via the file-fragment uploading for working with rich content, and customizable thumbnail images, which they state is aimed at making it simpler for developers to provide a “more integrated” experience across their application, which in the long run benefits the end user as well.
