HTC One M9 and M9 Plus Renders Leak Out, Looks like the “Fake” Leaks We Already saw

So much for Evleaks being retired. As he just posted up the render of the HTC One M9, as well as the One M9 Plus. Both of which are supposedly being announced at Mobile World Congress in March. HTC has already announced their event for Mobile World Congress and it’ll take place on Sunday, March 1st. We will be there to check out their new flagships and see just how great they really are.

Looking at these two renders, the HTC One M9 appears to be a bit like the One M8, but with less bezels. Also there’s a new speaker design with this one, and you can’t really see them. Now that doesn’t mean that the speakers have been moved to the back or anything. We’ll have to wait and find out on March 1st about that one. We’ve got a bigger camera up front. So it looks like HTC is continuing the trend of the UltraPixel camera on the front. Which I think it does well on the front, compared to the back. With the Desire 826, they announced at CES, they placed the UltraPixel camera on the front. Rumor is still to have a 21MP Sony sensor on the back, which I’m excited for.

There’s also a bit of a sleeker design here. Although, one of the more noticeable design tweaks here is that the bigger model, the One M9 Plus, has a physical home button, while the regular M9 doesn’t. Additionally it has the black bar, that everyone hates. Now we don’t know if these are legit or not, as they do look like those decoys that HTC sent out over the past few weeks. But generally leaks from Evleaks are 90% true. Every once in a while he’s wrong, but that’s not too often.

Either way, we’ll find out in roughly five weeks. I will be in Barcelona for their launch event, and can’t wait to see what HTC has done this time around.
