Oppo is apparently set to launch a new phone in the country of Malaysia in the future, as the Oppo 3006 looks to have just been certified by the Malaysian government. For the most part this looks like it will be a mid-range device not to unlike the recently launched Oppo 3005 and Oppo 3007, both which come sporting 4.7-inch displays that come with 720p resolution, quad-core processors clocked at 1.2GHz, and 1GB of RAM paired with 8GB of internal storage. While the Oppo 3006 hasn’t officially been unveiled or launched yet, the specs will probably fall along the same lines as the other two devices in the same lineup.
If we’re to expect a similar handset, then the Oppo 3006 should also be coming with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a 4.7-inch IPS display with 720p resolution and the same 8GB of internal storage space. We’ll also likely see it come with an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, all which should have LED flash equipped on the back. Other possible specs would most likely see the Oppo 3006 come powered by a 2,000mAh battery and Oppo’s own UI running on top of Android 4.4.4 KitKat, while also supporting Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity for the network connections.
The Oppo 3005 and the Oppo 3007 also look nearly identical, which you can see fro the added images below, so we’d expect the Oppo 3006 to follow the same or a similar design trend. Although at this point we don’t know what Oppo has planned for the design in actuality. What we do know is that the Oppo 3006 will be a dual-SIM device just like the Oppo 3005 and the Oppo 3007, which means it’ll be a suitable handset for those that often travel to locations that support dual-SIM devices. So far this is just a certification listing of the device that has been spotted, so we don’t have any idea on price just yet. With it being tapped as a mid-range offering though we shouldn’t see this device cost too much, especially considering the prices we normally see from Chinese phone manufacturers.
