~ MamakTalk ~: Meizu M1 Note Specs

Meizu has finally launched their much-rumored M1 Note handset, previously known as the Blue Charm Note. We’ve already covered the launch of this phone, as well as the event and hands-on images. This is a truly great phone for the given price, the 16GB version costs 999 Yuan in China, while the 32GB version will set you back 1,199 Yuan, which is a steal for this handset basically. The phone is available for pre-order already and will go on sale on December 30th. Anyhow, it’s time to take a deeper look at its specifications.

Let’s start with the dimension of this phone, Meizu M1 Note measures 150.7 x 75.2 x 8.9mm and weighs 145 grams. This handset features a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080, 403ppi) IGZO display from Sharp and it is protected with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 layer of protective glass. The M1 Note is powered by MediaTek’s MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz which comes with Mali T760 MP2 GPU for graphics processing which is clocked at 600MHz. 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 or 32GB of non-expandable internal storage ship with this device as well. This is a dual-SIM, dual-standby handset and the 3410mAh battery comes with this device as well.

As far as cameras go, the M1 Note has two shooters available, the 13-megapixel snapper (300-degree panoramic lens) is located on the back of this device and flanked by an LED Flash. We’re talking about Samsung’s sensor here with 5P (5 plastic elements) lens and f/2.2 aperture. It is also worth mentioning that the camera can take 30 photos per second according to Meizu. This phone also features a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper by OmniVision (OV5670, 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture and a 69-degree wide viewing angle).

Meizu M1 Note ships with Android 4.4 KitKat with Meizu’s Flyme 4 OS on top of it, which will get you more or less the same UI that you’ll find on the Meizu MX4 and the MX4 Pro, save for some features like the fingerprint scanner which MX4 Pro sports, for example. As far as connectivity is concerned, you do get 4G LTE connectivity with this device as well as Wi-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual-band) and Bluetooth 4.0.
