Meizu’s Blue Charm Note handset has been leaking like crazy over the last couple of weeks. The company has finally announced this handset yesterday and its name is different than expected. Meizu decided to call this device the Blue Note in China and M1 Note internationally, we’ll use the latter naming, of course. This handset is an extremely affordable piece of technology and offers great specifications of the price, I’d even go as far as saying this is the best budget smartphone under $200 you can buy at the moment and it will probably stay that was for a while.
We’ll review this handset in the future, as soon as possible that is, and will have a ton of our own images to share with you. You can take a look at our hands-on images from the event itself, if you’d like. The device got unboxed in China in the meantime and if you’d like to see how that went, take a look at the gallery below this article, you’ll find plenty of images showing you the Blue and White version of this handset as well as the content of the box like the charger, charging cable, etc. Meizu MX4 and MX4 Pro are also shown in some of these images and compared to the M1 Note handset.
Meizu M1 Note sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) IGZO display by Sharp along with 2GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of non-expandable internal storage. MediaTek’s MT6752 SoC is powering on this handset, this is a 64-bit octa-core SoC clocked at 1.7GHz which ships with Mali-T760 GPU for graphics processing. 13-megapixel shooter is located at the back of this handset and there’s also a 5-megapixel camera available on the front side of this device. 3410mAh battery comes with this device and will offer you plenty of time on a charge according to Meizu. M1 Note comes in a bunch of color variants: Yellow, Green, Yellow, Pink and Blue. This handset is already available for pre-order in China directly from Meizu or Jingdong Mall. The 16GB version of this handset will cost you 999 Yuan ($160), while the 32GB model will set you back 1,199 Yuan ($194).
Let us know what you think of this device, do you like it, or not? Would you consider buying this handset for said price?
