Sony announces CES 2015 event for new Xperia devices

Sure, Christmas hasn’t happened yet, but that’s not going to stop manufacturers from preparing the launches of their new devices for next year. Sony has already scheduled a CES 2015 conference for January 5th, although they haven’t specified exactly what’s going to be announced.

Sony typically refreshes their devices quicker than other OEMs, so seeing the Xperia Z4 that early in the year wouldn’t be out of the question. Of course, MWC happens a month after CES, so it could also be unveiled in February instead.

There is also the potential of new mid-range Xperia phones, new tablets, or any number of other new devices. Whatever they decide to announce, let’s just hope we see it widely available in the US this time around.
