This year, we saw a few smartphone manufacturers from China enter the local market with a couple of them managed to establish themselves towards the Malaysian consumers such as Huawei, Xiaomi and Lenovo.
The latest to join them is Leagoo. Leagoo has just appear in the local market recently with their debut smartphone in town namely Leagoo Lead 5.
The Leagoo Lead 5 housed a 5 inch IPS screen that is running on a Mediatek MT6582 Quad Core processor that clocks at 1.3 GHz. However, the resolution of the screen is rather low at 854 x 480 pixels. It packs with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM.
The main camera is a 5 megapixel shooter, while the front facing camera is a 3 megapixel unit. It supports dual SIM as well.
The exterior body of the phone is quite stylish in design. And it has a slim body of a mere 7.9 mm thick that is covered with aluminium frame.
The battery capacity is 2,800 mAh which is quite generous for a phone that only cost RM399! On top of that, it even runs in Android 4.4.2 KitKat which is considered quite up to date if we compare it with other devices from China smartphone vendors. It also comes with gesture control feature based on Leagoo's own software.
