LG G3 Stylus unveiled

Well LG just couldn’t wait until IFA to show off its Galaxy Note 4 competitor. The Korean manufacturer has just unveiled the LG G3 Stylus, a device that mimics the original G3′s design but incorporates a stylus for better productivity.

The bad news is that this device doesn’t exactly match the Note 4 in specs. It’s a mid-range device with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a 5.5-inch 960x540p display and 13MP/1.3MP cameras.

Opinion: The good news here is that this phone does sport a hefty 3,000 mAh battery, which should keep the energy-efficient components running for quite some time.

China planning to make its own computer OS

China is not one to prefer relying on outside technology and software. They care about their security and will go the extra mile to protect it. This is why they are attempting to create their very own computer OS, which is said to compete with the big guys.

It’s said the new OS could launch as soon as October, so we don’t have long to wait before we find out what is going on.

Opinion: China is not a huge fan of the western tech giants, and they have been trying to break their ties for a long time. Of course, that’s a complicated feat, considering how the market runs.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S coming to India for Rs. 5,999

Xiaomi is really making it hard for competitors to keep up. Their latest announcement brings the Xiaomi Redmi 1S to India for the stunning price of Rs. 5,999, which equals to almost $100 USD.

The device does come with modest specs, but it’s no slouch either. It sports a 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a 4.7-inch 720p display and 8MP/1.6MP cameras.

Opinion: There is no way to go wrong with this phone for under $100. These specs are very similar to the Moto G, which costs twice the price. If interested, head to Flipkart on September 2nd. Do remember these tend to run out fast, though!
