Over the weekend, AMD announced the Never Settle Space Edition game bundle that will roll out along with the new AMD Radeon R9 285 graphics card on September 2nd, 2014. The new game bundle promo is basically an update to the current AMD Never Settle Forever bundle that is being offered right now. Additions of game titles like Alien: Isolation, Star Citizen, Space Run and Habitat will only strengthen and freshen up the game titles being offered as perks to those that purchase select AMD Radeon graphics cards.
“From the inception of our ‘Never Settle’ program, connecting with gamers and the games they want to play have been our central focus,” said Bernard Fernandes, AMD Public Relations Manager.
Star Citizen is a game title that has been making news lately as it has passed up the $52 million mark from crowd funding sources. It is on track to become one of the first AAA game titles that was developed with money from fans instead of a major publisher. The fandom is currently kicking in about $120,000 USD per day for this game title, which is still a long way from release.
“With the introduction of Never Settle: Space, we add Alien Isolation and a Star Citizen pack to the current 27 titles in the gold tier of our AMD Radeon rewards program.” Fernandes added. “it just doesn’t get better than this.”
